This is an opportunity for all class advisors and incoming class officers to come together and start planning for the upcoming school year!

Starting this school year, all schools except Owyhee Combined School will return to the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Program.
What you need to know:
To receive free or reduced-price meals, families must complete a meal application. Eligibility is based on household income. If your family doesn’t qualify, students will need to pay full price.
How to apply:
You only need to submit one application per household. Choose the option that works best for you:
Online (starting August 11): Complete your application here
Print & Return: Find the form and instructions here
Paper Copy from School: A form will be sent home during the first week. Just fill it out and send it back.
Why it matters:
This helps ensure all students who qualify receive meals at a free or reduced cost and can influence school funding. For full details, see the USDA eligibility info.

As we gear up for the new school year, please ensure your student has the required immunizations completed before the first day of school:
💉 12th Grade Students
Must receive their second dose of the Meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine.
💉 7th Grade Students
Must receive their first dose of the Meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine
and their Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccine.
🩺 Need help getting these done?
Nevada Health Centers in Elko offers walk-in immunization clinics every Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, they will accept walk-ins all day on August 6th and 7th to help families prepare for school.

All student-athletes in grades 7-12 must have a current sports physical on file to participate in athletics for the 2025–2026 school year. Paperwork will be available at the high school office.
Hello Wells Combined School Community,
All families are required to complete the annual registration for each student enrolled in K-12th grade. The registration process will be conducted entirely online through our secure Parent Portal. All registrations must be complete and approved for your student to attend on Monday, August 18th.
Please have the online registrations completed by Thursday, August 7th, to allow time for any updates and approvals

We would like to invite all parents and guardians of athletes participating in fall sports to a Parent Meeting tonight, August 4th, at 7:30 PM in the high school auditorium.
