Boys basketball this week
Our Junior High Boys Basketball Team played in Spring Creek in the Boys Silver Bracket on Saturday. Their first game was against Jackpot. Jackpot had to forfeit the game due to not having enough players, so the boys won that game and advanced to the next game against SCMS #1. They lost to SCMS#1 with a score of 22-41. They then played Carlin for the WIN 24-19. The boys placed third in the tournament. Good job boys!
CONGRATULATIONS to our Girls Junior High Basketball TEAM 2 for winning the Silver Bracket Championship.
Wells Team 2 played Wells Team 1 for the championship. The team in orange (in the photos) was the winning team coached by Dorolie Peters and MarJanna Dahl.

*On Saturday, Dec 2, 2023, the Wells Varsity Girls Basketball team won their game against GV Christian High School by a score of 38-7.
*On Friday, Dec 1, 2023, the Wells Varsity Girls Basketball team won their game against Pahranagat Valley High School by a score of 28-27.

Our JV and Varsity girls played in West Wendover last night. The JV girls played an intense game and came away with the win, 34-24. Our varsity girls played hard but lost 23-51. Good luck today in Elko!

Basketball games this week
Our WRESTLERS did amazing this past weekend in Utah at their first tournament! They were the only 1A wrestlers in the 5A/6A tournament.
Tegan R took 5th place in a bracket of 38 girls! She finished with a record of 4-2 with 4 pins. Great job Tegan!!
Gage U finished with a record of 7-2 with 6 pins! He took home 3rd place! Way to go Gage!!
We are extremely proud of Tegan and Gage!
They will wrestle this weekend in Winnemucca at the Cody Louk Tournament
