Plan Your Commute to School Accordingly
We want to inform you about upcoming changes at the new roundabout on Lamoille Highway and Boyd Kennedy Road in Spring Creek.
Starting tomorrow and ending on the 20th, the contractor will test traffic control by closing the outer lanes, leaving the inner two lanes and a center turn lane open. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 MPH.
Construction is set to begin on March 31st. Please plan your commute accordingly. We plan to monitor the situation and understand this could cause delays while everyone adjusts. Let's get to school safe and sound!

Synopsis:
The Knotting Community College Cheerleading Team is hosting a Protect the Whales fundraiser at IHOFF: The International House of Fried Foods, an all you can eat buffet. When the cheerleaders are poisoned, it becomes clear that someone at the buffet is out for murder. But who could it be? The vivacious female impersonator? The tattooed bikers? The argumentative conjoined twins? The irritable cook? The artistic fashion designer? The love-struck ventriloquist? Santa Claus? His elf? Or one of the other zany characters floating around the restaurant? Join psychic Madam Adelina as she attempts to unravel the mystery with some help from the audience.

The Nevada School Climate/Social Emotional Learning Survey (NV-SCSEL) is used to gather student feedback about their experiences at school. The NV-SCSEL surveys are administered to students in grade 5 and up throughout the state of Nevada during the fall of each school year. The NV-SCSEL surveys measure students’ perceptions of key aspects of school climate, including physical and emotional safety, relationships, and cultural and linguistic competence, as well as students’ social and emotional competencies. The survey is an opportunity for students to anonymously share their experiences of their school’s climate with their school, school district, and NDE. To learn more about the survey, visit nevadaschoolclimate.org. Spring Creek High School will be administering the survey to students (9th -12th grade) between November 20th and December 2, 2024. Parents can preview the survey here: https://nevadaschoolclimate.org/docs/NVSCSELStudentSurveyFall2024.pdf
Questions on the survey are optional. Students can choose not to answer any question they do not want to answer. Parents can opt their child(ren) out of participating in the survey by contacting their child(ren)’s school. If you have any questions about the NV-SCSEL survey, please contact your child(ren)’s school.
