During the week of November 4, students 5th-12th grade will have the opportunity to take the Nevada School Climate/Social Emotional Learning Survey in their Advisory class. This survey is administered throughout the state of Nevada during the Fall to gather student feedback about their experiences at school. The survey is an opportunity for students to anonymously share their experiences of their school’s climate with their school, school district, and Nevada Department of Education. To learn more about the survey, visit nevadaschoolclimate.org. Questions on the survey are optional. Students can choose not to answer any question they do not want to answer. Parents can preview the survey by viewing the attachment in your email. If you have any questions about the NV-SCSEL survey, please contact Carlin Combined Schools 775-754-6317.

Volleyball Divisionals are in Elko, our Lady Railroaders play Saturday at 11:30am at Elko High. Come out support these amazing athletes.

Fire Engineering will be testing the new fire alarms at the school this morning. This is going to set the fire alarm system off at the school for a longer period of time. The fire Marshall will also be inspecting them. So if you hear the alarm don't be concerned, it is just a test.
~SENIOR NIGHT~
Volleyball Varsity senior night will start at 4:45pm. Football senior night will start at 6:45pm. Cross country, band, and cheer senior night will be halftime at the football game.
Football game tonight will be 7 on 7 as McDermitt only has 7 players.
An early out has been added to the Calendar for Carlin. November 13, 2024 K-12th grade will be dismissed at 1:45pm.

They are being sent home today. Bright neon green form that needs filled out, signature, and date. By returning these forms you are helping our school district get federal funding. Please fill out the form and return back to school as soon as possible. Even if the questions do not apply anymore please sign, date, and return the form. Have a wonderful day!
Parents: Your child will be bringing home the 2024-25 Federal Impact Aid Form on or about September 30. These forms are pre-bubbled. All you need to do is update your work status.
Please complete all the fields that pertain to you, date and sign, and have your child return it to their school as soon as possible. By returning this form, you are helping our school district receive the appropriate amount of funding for our schools from the federal government.
Junior High Students who plan on participating in Intramural Sports will need a physical. Browning Medical Group is hosting a day just for physicals. Please call 775-778-3437 to schedule an appt. On October 9th- 3:30-6pm.
